The winemaker

The estate's vines are planted on complex clay-limestone soils, on marly slopes of the Oxfordian, dolomitized limestone and red clay, particularly in the Pommard appellation, which allows the Pinot Noir grape to express its power and elegance. A selection of grape varieties and a balance between old vines (50 years or more) and more recent vines, with the aim of maintaining the estate in very good condition, is a constant preoccupation of the Domaine. In recent years, the vineyards have been managed organically and biodynamically, with respect for the environment and health, to optimize the expression of each terroir in its most authentic and natural form. The estate has been certified organic by Ecocert since 2013. No weedkillers are used, and the vines are ploughed in moderation.
