The winemaker

The vineyards of Domaine Henri Boillot


The 19 hectares composed of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are spread between the communes of Volnay and Puligny-Montrachet. The chalky soil of Volnay, with its schistous benches, all at an average altitude of 255 meters, produces wines of great complexity. On the Puligny-Montrachet side, the brown limestone soils alternate between marl, hard rock and clayey loam, producing flattering, racy wines.
