The winemaker

The Leflaive family has always owned hectares of vines in Burgundy. The vines are located on terroirs whose reputation is well established: between Chevalier-Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrachet, Les Folatières and Les Pucelles in Puligny-Montrachet and Blagny Sous le Dos d'Ane in Meursault, all great names synonymous and evocative of great moments. The vines have been cultivated according to biodynamic principles for almost 20 years without interruption. This philosophy has been respected and applied ever since. Olivier Leflaive's philosophy is to produce great wines, simply. To achieve this, there's no secret: it all starts in the vineyard with beautiful grapes. Olivier, Franck and their team are fortunate to maintain friendly relations with the best winegrowers on the Côte, "figures" who take meticulous care of their vines.
