The winemaker

Historically, Leflaive family has hectares of vineyards in Burgundy. The vineyards are located on land whose reputation is well established: between Chevalier-Montrachet, Batard-Montrachet, Les Folatières and the Maidens in Puligny-Montrachet and Blagny Under the Dos d'Ane in Meursault, as many big names synonyms and suggestive of great moments. The vines were grown according to biodynamic precepts for almost 20 years without interruption. This philosophy has since been respected and applied. The philosophy of Olivier Leflaive is to produce great wines, simply. For that, no secret, everything starts with the vineyard of fine grapes. Olivier, Franck and his team have the chance to maintain friendly relations with top wine producers from the coast, "figures" who treat their vines with rigor.
