The grapes, characterized by very dark berries, are destemmed and vinified in open vats for around 4 weeks, fully revealing all the subtlety of this terroir. After devatting, the wines are aged in oak barrels in our cellars for 18 months.

Aroma
The nose reveals aromas of red and black fruits (raspberry and blueberry). After aeration, Santenay Premier Cru becomes more complex, with spicy, floral aromas of pepper and violet.

This rich aromatic palette is enhanced by a round, full mid-palate. The wines produced have a powerful structure and a beautiful aromatic complexity, which a long barrel ageing process brings out to the full.
