The winemaker

The adventure begins when seven independent winegrowers decided to join forces and resources to acquire a common press, a Dollat ​​still in business today. Quickly, winemakers sharing the same values ​​and the same passion as the founders join the small group. Together they have the audacity to create a range of Champagne Blanc de Noirs from their vineyard mostly planted with Pinot Meunier. Based in Janvry, 15 km west of Reims in the locality of "l'Auche" it is natural that they choose this name for their Champagne. Today, with a supply of 110 hectares spread over 40 wines, including some classified Premier Cru Champagne CH. L'AUCHE relies on passionate work of the 60 growers who, day after day tend their vines in order to achieve the optimal quality for the development of great Champagnes.
