The winemaker

A true family estate, Maison J. de Telmont was founded by Henri Lhopital, one of the first winemakers in Champagne to move from harvesting to handling. Today, Bertrand and Pascale, the fourth generation of the Lhopital family, run the company. In their turn, they have breathed new life into the House, and made their mark by introducing biodynamic viticulture. This work and quest for perfection have made the House one of the top 20 Champagne Houses.
