The winemaker

HARVESTING AND HANDLING since 1968 The company was founded in 1968 in Château-Thierry by Robert Lété and his wife Liliane Vautrain. Starting with a plot of 40 ares, they planted smaller areas almost every year, gradually building up to the present 7.5 hectares. Their children, Michèle and Frédéric, took over and developed the family business until 2011, when they decided to pass the estate on to a second Champagne family with deep roots in the Marne Valley winegrowing tradition: the Baron-Fuenté family.
