The winemaker

The Paul Goerg estate

The Paul Goerg Champagne estate is located on the Côté des Blancs in the Champenois region. It is characterized by the almost exclusive use of Chardonnay grapes, the champagne's distinctive signature. Chardonnay is selected on a parcel-by-parcel basis, and aged in small vats to preserve its fine, elegant taste. The specificity of Chardonnay used for Champagne wine is that it ages much longer than AOC averages. From a minimum of 4 years, it lasts up to 8 for vintage cuvées. Dosage is low.

The cuvées of Champagne Paul Goerg

Paul Goerg's rosé champagne stays fresh thanks to the majority of Chardonnay grapes, and avoids the overly sweet taste that these champagnes can sometimes have. In the whites, Paul Goerg offers an interesting 9-year-aged vintage, the "Lady", which offers a smooth, voluptuous effervescence appreciated by connoisseurs. Finally, the Champagne range includes a "blanc des blancs", a "brut", an "extra brut" and a 2021 vintage with almost saline notes.
