The winemaker
Founded in 1993 by two friends, Antoine Picard and Francis Boyer, Champagne PICARD & BOYER's main aim was not to expand. The initial idea was to indulge themselves and enjoy their champagne with friends at weekends. Their know-how, and their love for this exceptional wine, make PICARD & BOYER cuvées wines of the highest quality. Little by little, orders increased and the loyalty of the first customers grew.
This adventure came to a head in the middle of the 2009 harvest, when Antoine Picard passed away. His 4 sons decided to follow in his footsteps, and it was only natural that Axel, the 3rd son, should take up the reins and develop the business.
Our heritage is marked by five generations of Champagne growers, who, one after the other, have passed on their knowledge and expertise. That's why the history of Champagne PICARD & BOYER is marked by this family imprint, reflected in our "Esprit de Famille".
