The winemaker

The producer

Champagnes Rollin is first and foremost a family story. Since Armand Rollin installed a press in the heart of the village in 1971 to enable winegrowers to press their grapes, the Rollin family has developed its estate and improved its practices to produce champagnes of the highest quality. In 1982, Daniel Rollin produced his first cuvées, initially for friends and family, before marketing them more widely. Since 2010, Eric and Sandrine have taken over the family estate with the ambition of developing the distribution of champagnes and improving their quality. They are investing in new facilities, experimenting with new methods and participating in advances to develop a viticulture capable of producing sparkling wines of excellence, while respecting this prestigious terroir and the environment.

The vineyards are planted on clay-limestone soils, with a majority of Pinot Noir grapes, complemented by Chardonnay. The family's cuvées combine the power of Pinot with the finesse and freshness of the white variety.

Sustainable viticulture certification

Since 2012, the winery has been managed using sustainable viticulture and certified by Terra Vitis. Since 2021, it has also held the "Haute Valeur Environnemental" and "vinification sans sulfites ajoutés" labels. No herbicides are used on the vineyard.

House cuvées

Maison Rollin produces several exceptional champagnes and offers a range comprising brut, rosée and collector's cuvées. Some have won prestigious awards. Cuvée Grande Réserve Champagne Rollin is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It was awarded the Vinalies gold medal in Paris in 2017. Or Noir is a champagne made from Pinot Noir grown on essentially limestone soil that provides the vines with excellent natural irrigation. It was awarded the gold medal at the Vinalies de Paris in 2020.
