The winemaker

The history of the Thienot Champagne House

Alain Thiénot was a Champagne wine broker for 20 years, which allowed him to acquire an excellent knowledge of the wines and their production processes. He rubbed shoulders with the winemakers and trained alongside them, until that day in 1985 when he embarked on his own adventure, with his own house, Champagne Thiénot.

The success of Champagne Thiénot was meteoric and it made a place in the sun among the most reputable champagne houses in a few years. The house is perceived as contemporary and innovative. Its blends are composed of the best grapes, thanks to Alain Thiénot's knowledge of all the winegrowers in Champagne. His goal is to prioritize quality over quantity and to be very creative in imbuing his house with his signature style.

The Thiénot champagnes
