The winemaker

Here, respect for tradition and modern techniques have always been combined with a constant concern for quality. The 130 hectares of vineyards produce Muscats de Rivesaltes, Rivesaltes, Côtes du Roussillon, Côtes du Roussillon Villages and IGP Côtes Catalanes wines, which combine elegance and intensity. 23 grape varieties make these Roussillon wines some of France's best-known appellations. These wines have been recognized by the French and international press, cited in all the major guides and regularly rewarded in the most important regional and national competitions for over a decade. Produced under the guidance of Fernand Baixas, an oenologist with in-depth knowledge of our terroirs and grape varieties, our 22 cuvées represent the full range of the region's potential. A large proportion is sold directly from the winery, as well as from the estate's restaurant, which welcomes some 10,000 customers a month. Another part, which we hope to develop, is sold to local distributors or to certain professionals as part of a wine fair or event. DOMAINE DE ROMBEAU Catalan flavors for all of life's moments.
