The winemaker

The Canet-Valette estate covers 20 hectares. Most of the vines are grown on clay-limestone terroir with southern exposure. Harvesting is done by hand. The grape varieties are varied: Bourboulenc and Piquepoul for the white wines, Mourvèdre, Grenache Noir, Cinsault, Carignan and Syrah for the reds. The wines produced at the domaine benefit from long ageing, 36 months for the Maghani, a wine for laying down, which gives them authentic flavors and tannins.
