The winemaker

The history of the Cantalauze estate

Although the Domaine de Cantalauze winery is over a century old, it was in 2015 that Thomas Sananes took over the reins of the domaine to pursue his passion. Nestled in the South of France, near Carcassonne, the Cantalauze estate has won over this store manager. A professional conversion that has resulted in wines of quality and simplicity.

Characteristics of the terroir and vineyards of Domaine de Cantalauze

The estate's mild climate and terroir make it possible to produce wines from a variety of grape varieties. All the wines produced at Domaine de Cantalauze come from sustainable agriculture. But more than just a vineyard, this estate also harvests saffron and olive oil by hand.
