The winemaker

This picturesque village is nestled in the heart of a beautiful circus high limestone cliffs. The site, near the Mediterranean, is a mecca for climbing and prehistory. The cave of Arago, the cradle of man Tautavel, is located outside the village. Vingrau The valley is an oasis of vineyards lost in a mineral ocean where only scrub, pines and oaks can survive. It is the latter that the area is named. Regardless of the route by which one reaches the village, it's surrounded by the fragrant nature reigns supreme. It is on the slopes, interspersed with dry-stone walls that grow most of vines of the Domaine. The latter has about thirty hectares spread over the best soils in altitudes between 120 and 350 m. The unit is fully classified name. Alain Razungles, professor of oenology today is the head of the family estate. It offers a wide range of wines: white, red, dry or sweet, all testify to the exceptional quality of the terroir of Vingrau.
