The winemaker

The Puccini brothers have embarked on a wonderful adventure by taking over this estate, located on the terroirs of Aniane where so many famous wines have blossomed... The two brothers, under modest, even sometimes discreet, appearances, display a strong ambition for excellence for their estate. A policy of quality was implemented from the outset, necessitating major restructuring work in the first instance: - uprooting the vines of least interest in terms of quality. - regular planting to diversify the grape varieties. - sustainable viticulture, favoring green harvesting for optimal exposure of the grapes, and limiting the use of fertilizers, weedkillers and construction materials: - The winery, built in 2009, was designed to enable parcel-based vinification, isolating grape varieties and terroirs. It takes advantage of the natural slope of the land, which ensures thermal regulation. This varied, fragmented vineyard is still in a state of flux, with new plantings still to come in order to make the most of the mosaic of terroirs present on the 41 Mas des Armes plots. Some fifteen grape varieties make up the Mas des Armes palette, including 7 white varieties and 8 red varieties, which, combined with the great diversity of terroirs, guarantee highly complex wines.
