The winemaker

The François Lurton name is virtually unavoidable in the wine world. Originally a producer in the Bordeaux region, this family has been in the wine business for 5 generations, and today boasts several vineyards in France, as well as in Argentina, Spain, Chile and Croatia. And although François Lurton was initially in charge of marketing the vineyards, his desire to be back in the vineyards was stronger. Today, he spends more time looking after his vineyards in the four corners of the world, in order to produce wines that resemble him. François Lurton offers us top-of-the-range wines that bear all the hallmarks of their terroir. This great diversity enables him to offer a very wide range of products, encompassing the tastes of all gourmets. As ecology is very important to him, he has decided to set up a centralized ecological charter for all his vineyards. He advocates lowering the use of sulfite, or even eliminating it altogether, converting to organic or biodynamic farming, systematically recycling and optimizing packaging. François Lurton offers authentic cuvées that respect nature, right down to the bottle, 75% of which is made from recycled glass.
