The winemaker

Mas Janeil is run by François Lurton, the family's 5th winemaker. He is preceded by a century of viticulture in the Bordeaux region. Today, the winemaker manages several estates around the world, all of which have their originality in common. It was in 1996 that he fell in love with the Agly Valley and decided with his brother to lease Mas Janeil. The estate was bought by the two brothers in 2008. These parcels are located between Maury and Tautavel. The vineyard benefits from a wide variety of terroirs, offering a beautiful aromatic palette to its wines.
