The adventure of David Pamiès and his wife Danielle Khalkhal began during a walk, when they discovered old, abandoned plots of land on a rocky foothill of the Montagne Noire. After extensive rehabilitation, the couple applied farming techniques that were very close to nature, with no chemical or phytosanitary treatments, and no chemical weeding. Find out more

The winemaker

At the very heart of the Minervois region, on the edge of production, the causse region expresses its influence. A very rocky limestone soil, a climate that is cold in winter, hot and dry in summer, harsh and windy, a set of very enchanting fragrances, a wild and rugged landscape... The Domaine Khalkhal-Pamiès has refined its approach to viticulture, converting Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault and Syrah to organic farming. The generous, delicious, ripe cuvée evolves delicately, but retains its Languedoc power.
