TWO HILLS OF CHARGE, THE PERCHED VILLAGE OF MONTPEYROUX IS THE CRADLE OF FAMILY Chadronnier. On the hill of "Pontys" next to the family house, a vineyard plot less than 1.75 hectares was planted in 2002, where other generations Chadronnier had once planted, then ripped off, then replanted vines. On this clay-limestone in the southern sun, Merlot, large majority, is supplemented by Cabernet Sauvignon.
