The winemaker

Characteristics of the Domaine de Villemajou terroir and vineyard

Domaine de Villemajou is located in Boutenac, near Narbonne, in the Aude department. It belongs to the Languedoc vineyards. The grape varieties present in the vineyard are Carignan Rouge, Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre for the red wines. Marsanne, Maccabeu, Bourboulenc and Roussanne are used for white wines.

The wines of Domaine de Villemajou

Domaine de Villemajou markets wines from two AOPs: AOP Corbières and AOP Corbières-Boutenac. Corbières includes white, rosé and red wines. Corbières-Boutenac is exclusively a red wine. Whether red or white, Domaine Villemajou wines express a wide range of gustatory complexity. The reds, like the Cuvée La Forge, are full-bodied, long-keeping wines. The whites, for medium aging, are fruitier.
