Excellent. Surprisingly bold. Nose bursting with dark fruits with moss undertones. Warm, forest berries and hint of fig initially moving to more complex dark chocolate and cherries, vanilla, and black pepper finish. Very, very good wine at this price

The nose is spicy. Warm on the palate, the tannins are still lively. This Malepère deserves a few years in the cellar to release its full potential.
