First, with its minerality and hint of graphite, followed by aromas of black olive, tobacco and spices, reminiscent of the eminence of the clay-limestone terroirs of the Petit Causse. Then there's the fruit, with its morello cherry and red fruit aromas and its mentholated, liquorice finish. And finally, the extraordinary sensation of unctuous harmony, suave balance and gourmet serenity so characteristic of the estate's reds. Made from hand-picked Syrah (40%), Carignan (30%) and Grenache (30%), delicately vinified according to an ancestral local method, aged without artifice, esprit d'automne, this is a wine that can do it all, a talented jack-of-all-trades. A good, round, expressive wine, strong and soft at the same time. Decant a little in advance so that it can express all its aromas.
