In a few words ...
A structure dominated by Grenache, which brings out the fruit, and offers a lovely roundness on the palate. Blended with Syrah, which adds a spicier, fuller-bodied touch, and Carignan, which adds a little tannin, the balance is excellent, resulting in a wine that's not only delicious, but also has the potential to age for ten years or so. Aged 21 months, 50% in very old barrels, 50% in vats, neither filtered nor fined. Total sulphur: 25 mg/litre.
