The winemaker

Le Chemin is the story of Matthieu and Franck, two friends who discovered each other in the conviviality of wine and vintage tastings. Their friendship grew along with their oenological knowledge and expertise. Both were pursuing successful careers in different fields, but fascination and passion took over, ultimately leading to the desire to make wine their profession. Changing their living environment, rethinking their daily lives: a big step they took together in 2018 when they chose the Hérault region, and more specifically the Terrasses du Larzac. It's a choice that owes nothing to chance, made after an in-depth study of the climates, geological features and their knowledge of the region's winegrowers. Today, they farm 5ha of vines organically, and produce two cuvées: "Le Chemin", AOC Terrasses du Larzac, a blend of unfiltered and unfined Grenache, Syrah and Carignan, partially aged in barrels; and "La Tangerine", AOC Languedoc, a blend of Grenache and Syrah.
