The winemaker

Vignobles Vellas, a family story that began 4 generations ago in the heart of the Languedoc appellations. The main family estate, Domaine du Mas du Pont, the center of our activities, is a place of culture and tradition, centered around vines, wine, gastronomy and bullfighting. It is located in the communes of Teyran and Le Crès, near Montpellier, between the Pic Saint-Loup and the Mediterranean Sea. On the estate, you can discover the vineyard, the tasting cellar, the Manade Vellas with its breeding of Camargue bulls, a café-theater, a gourmet restaurant, an equestrian center, gîtes and a large hall for your events... Our family has always had a close relationship with farming, with over 1000 hectares of cereals, pastures and olive groves, 1200 Camargue bulls and horses, and vineyards. Respect for our land and the environment is part of our way of life. That's why the majority of our vineyards are organically farmed, covering a surface area of 350 hectares, spread over 12 properties.
