Blended from a majority of Syrah and a minority of Grenache and Mourvèdre, this Mas Brugyere wine has a deep garnet-red color, with purple nuances, characteristic of pic saint loup wines. This cuvée is made from the estate's best plots on this exceptional pic saint loup terroir. The nose is equally deep, evoking ripe black fruit, density and licorice. The palate reveals a remarkable freshness, as the slow ripening of this terroir allows the balance between tannins and fruit. Aged eighteen months in barrel, this wine has a long ageing potential, and is best enjoyed between 3 and 15 years. Serve with gourmet dishes, game, sauces or grilled meats.
