The Brézé terroir is considered one of the most prestigious in Anjou. The wines of Brézé were sung by King René d'Anjou himself in the 16th century, and by Joachim du Bellay, who dedicated verses to it in the 16th century. The estate's terroir is composed of limestone clay, limestone sand and clayey sand. The wines produced have character and freshness. In 2022, the estate is converting to organic farming.
