In a few words ...

Terroir: Côte Roannaise soils are mostly composed of sand and granite. A poor soil par excellence where Gamay expresses itself wonderfully. This combination produces wines that are full-bodied, easy-drinking and highly expressive. Vine management: From spring onwards, we carry out green harvesting (disbudding, trellising, thinning, etc.) to spread out, expose and limit the number of bunches per vine. These different stages ensure optimum grape maturity before the harvest. Vinification: The harvest begins after several maturity checks. Vinification lasts 6 to 7 days, producing a supple, easy-drinking wine with soft tannins. Concervé in stainless steel tanks before bottling, it retains all its freshness and aromas.
