The winemaker

The Touraine terroir of Domaine de l'R


Touraine is famous for its limestone soils. In the heart of the Chinon AOC, Domaine de l'R favors biodynamic viticulture, hence the AB label and Eco-Cert certification. Aging takes place in raw cement vats, to preserve the purity of fruit flavor, from Cabernet Franc grapes for the reds and Chenin for the whites.

The wines of Domaine de l'R


With evocative names and graphic labels, Domaine de l'R cuvées are easy to spot from afar. The red cuvée "SO2" with its skull and crossbones, for example, is an atypical wine with a pearly mouthfeel. The rosé "La fille de l'R", with its pretty pink hue, smells of peach flesh. Enjoy chilled as an aperitif in summer.
