The winemaker
The Tourlaudiere is located midway of the boroughs of Vallet and Chapelle Heulin between departmental 106 and 756 the vineyard extends over almost 35 ha, and is crossed by the Poyet stream tributary Goulaine. Roland vinified its first harvest in 1976, a famous vintage obtained after a viticulture technician training oenology at the Castle of the White Tower, in Sauternes. Jeanine has debuted with the 1982 vintage winemaker, after doing the same training Oisellerie in Angouleme. In 1984, they met, as the Petiteau-Gaubert, terroir and vines from a family heritage, dating from the 17th century. When the relationship between the grower and his vineyard is expressed with passion and respect of human and natural values, environmental protection and the pursuit of quality become two major concerns. Therefore the field Tourlaudière is grown according to the specifications "Terra Vitis" since 2004
