At the age of 26, Jean Teissèdre set himself the challenge of a lifetime: to transform the family vineyard. Involved with his parents in the vineyards from an early age, Jean Teissèdre's ambition was to restore independence to the estate, which was attached to a cooperative. In 2011, he began vinifying his wine on the Saint-Pourçain terroir. He brings in new, local grape varieties such as tressalier, which thrives on the clay-limestone soil.
