The winemaker

Founded in 1976 by Jean-Marc Pichet, the estate is now run by his son Thomas, who officially took over the reins in 2012. A true winemaking artist, Thomas Pichet has an intimate knowledge of the terroir in which he was born. This knowledge, enriched by years of experience, has enabled him to acquire the appellation's finest soils and, above all, to make them sublime. Certified organic since 2010, Domaine du Petit Bondieu offers great Bourgueil and Chinon wines, made with respect for the environment, from the vine to the glass. Driven by a deep-rooted ecological conscience, Thomas and his team are multiplying their initiatives in favor of nature: elimination of chemical products since 1998, vinification without added sulfur, planting of hedges to preserve biodiversity... Each gesture testifies to their determination to produce wines that are sincere, committed and respectful of their terroir.
