The winemaker

The Loire Valley terroir of Château de Suronde


The vineyard covers six hectares and is made up of 100% Chenin grapes, characteristic of the sweet white wines of AOC Chaume, cultivated using biodynamic methods that have enabled the estate to acquire the AB bio label. The specificity of AOC Chaume is the over-ripening of the grapes, which gives the deep golden color characteristic of, for example, Coteaux-du-Layon.

The wines of Château de Suronde


Château de Suronde offers cuvées of sweet white wines typical of the Loire Valley. The "Quart de Chaume", dense, sweet and persistent on the palate, goes particularly well with cheese or fois gras. A biodynamic cuvée is also available. A "blanc de Suronde", more classic and light, is refreshing on the palate.
