The winemaker

The estate has been run from father to son for 5 generations. In 1965, Joël Delaunay took over, and the estate took on the name we know today. He began selling bottled wine in the early 1970s, and began selling to private individuals and for export in 1980. Over the past 40 years, the estate has grown steadily. Vineyard purchases, construction of a sales cellar and a winery equipped with modern technical facilities. Thierry Delaunay trained as a winemaker in the Bordeaux region, and settled on the estate in 1998. In 2004, he took over from his father Joël, who had passed on all his know-how. Today, Thierry Delaunay continues the family tradition of developing this beautiful property on the Cher hillsides.
