The winemaker

Impossible to summarize 500 years of the life of a vintner family. Only a book or a novel, could perhaps talk about five centuries of characters, events, anecdotes, evolution, happy days and crisis. We are winemakers from father to son since 1508, in the same small village on the banks of the Loire, in charge. Our ancestors, our parents have chosen are the most suitable on the most appropriate plots of vines, have defined the best growing conditions and generation to transmit the secret of each vine square, why such a variety here, why there there never was and there never will be vine there, without any written culture of the vine is transmitted, the vineyard restructuring. But the legacy of the vine is nothing if it is passed on the art of blending, since many of these plots, many of these courses, which influences the grapes by what we call the terroir effect there has also an art to make wine every bit differently, not losing anything of that nature and work of the winemaker already brought. Winemaking is also know to evolve and adapt to new taste trends, not to impose, but to listen to the taster. Our work is our passion. We received the inheritance. Pass it.
