The winemaker

Sébastien Brunet set up on his own in 2007, taking over his father's estate, which he gradually enlarged and converted to organic farming. Today, the estate has 16 hectares under organic management, with plots in the communes of Chançay, Reugny and Vernou sur Brenne. The soils are worked mechanically and the grapes harvested by hand. In the cellar, the wines are matured in kilometers of tuffeau galleries in a former mushroom farm dating from the 16th century. As in the vineyard, the wines are vinified in the most natural way, so that the Chenin can express the complexity and intensity of our different terroirs.
