Its notes of ripe fruit and melon, its juicy, well-balanced structure, served by beautiful bitters, form a complex expression of the vintage. A wine with substance, to be served with cooked fish, such as salmon with fennel". "I'm still blown away by the qualitative evolution of Muscadet. I really applaud the work these winemakers have done, and the expressions of Burgundy melon they have achieved. And this despite the fact that the last few vintages have been complicated to produce due to frost. For me, this is now one of the greatest white wines in the world. I put it in the same category as the white wines of Burgundy. These are the heartwarming words of Pascaline Lepeltier, interviewed by Ouest-France in mid-December 2022, about the winemakers who strive every day to create the finest muscadets from the Melon de Bourgogne grape. She is France's best sommelier, and a candidate in the World's Best Sommelier competition in Paris.

What's incredible is the diversity of experiences offered by Château de Rochefort wines... The 2020 Muscadet is perhaps the closest to the "traditional" Muscadet, with a character and originality already asserted. To be discovered!
