"What I know, I know from my father, who himself knew from his father...". So says Alphonse Mellot, 18th of his name, of his father, Alphonse Edmond, to whom this cuvée is dedicated. The wine is aged for 11 months in wooden vats and new demi-muids, before being matured en masse for at least 12 months.
