the savennières vineyard has been a unesco world heritage site since 2001. Chenin is the emblematic grape variety. The wines blossom after several years in the bottle and have remarkable ageing qualities.
Located at the heart of the savennières appellation, clos de la coulée de serrant is an appellation in its own right. The grape variety is exclusively chenin blanc, also known as pineau de la loire. No pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used. A unique, long-keeping wine that deserves to be uncorked at least 24 hours before serving.

Just a note, this is not a magnum but a 75cl bottle. On the Cave de l'Ill website, you'll find this product at this price, but in 75cl.
