JM rum is an agricultural rum produced since 1845 in Macouba, in the north-east of the island of Martinique (France), between Rivière Roches and Rivière de Macouba, at the foot of Montagne Pelée. The distillery is located in the middle of the 300-hectare Fonds-Préville estate, which has existed since 1790. The J.M rum distillery was founded in 1845 by Jean-Marie Martin, from whom it takes its initials.
