Another great wine from the appellation. Domaine Tempier's Bandol red is one of the great ones. This cuvée is the fruit of the estate's different terroirs and a perfect balance between Mourvèdre, Grenahce, Cinsault and Carignan. A dark color, a bewitching nose with notes of black fruits (blackberries, blackcurrants and blueberries) and a frank attack that's dense and concentrated but counterbalanced by a freshness and mentholated flavors that characterize Domaine Tempier. Like all Bandol wines, it will improve with a few years' cellaring and should be decanted.
