In a few words ...

Medium ruby, garnet-red fringe. The nose is smoky, wild, empyreumatic, with a hint of red fruit such as Morello cherry peeking through on a background of spices: cloves, cinnamon, with a touch of balsamic resin. The palate is full-bodied, smooth and rich, its acidity counterbalancing the generous heart. The tannic structure is firm but balanced, with blackcurrant and morello cherry fruit in the background, spicy and juicy. The finish has balsamic and smoky tones. May be kept for another 2-3 years, with a potential aging potential of 8-10 years. Red mullet, red wine lees sauce, panisses and bacon chips.
