The winemaker

With a clay and limestone soil and a greater than 40% stoniness, Peyrassol elaborates wines that need their harmony and delicacy with an exceptional terroir combined with carefully selected wines. The domain Peyrassol is 330 m on land directly from the alteration of the rock in place. This rock dates from the Middle Triassic, that is to say, the first part of the Mesozoic era. Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tibouren, merlot, Rolle, Ugni Blanc, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Clairette, Viognier and Muscat White were selected carefully to be in perfect harmony with the climate. The Commandery Peyrassol, nestled in the foothills of the Maures, spans over 850 hectares. With these 80 hectares of vineyards, olive groves those with more than 2500 trees, its truffle and its 350 hectares hunting park, the area is among the most important in the region.
