The winemaker

Domaine de la Bégude is 22 hectares of vineyards spread over 500 hectares of scrubland allowing the land to offer all its qualities to the wine. From this height, the view stretches far into the bay of La Ciotat and wide. The sea air continuously tempers this land. This vineyard produces red, rosé and white-owned AOC Bandol, one of the oldest appellations in France. Son, grand-son and great-grand-son of vineyard owners, William Tari has driven in La Bégude policy both innovative and true to tradition. Living there with his family, fell in love with this exceptional and very friendly nature, he knows by atavism that quality is a sum of details, each of which requires rigor. Outlawing the vine any brutal intervention, herbicides, pesticides and chemical fertilizers are banned. He favors seasonal tillage, including plowing and manual harvesting. All wines are from organic farming.
