Terroir and vineyards of the glauges valley


The vallon des glauges estate includes a plethora of grape varieties. In all, twelve grape varieties are present on this winery. Ugni Blanc, Rolle, Chardonnay, Clairette, Sauvignon Blanc, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Carignan and Counoise are strongly represented. With such a rich genetic heritage, it's hardly surprising that the Glauges valley produces some excellent wines.

Currently, 60% of domaine vallon des glauges production relates to rosé wines. The remainder is made up of 25% reds and 15% whites. Elegant and majestic, the wines of domaine vallon des glauges should be tasted at least once in a lifetime. For aesthetes, this Durance vineyard is well worth a visit.
