The winemaker

By this time, the company was already trading not only Provence wines, but also the great wines of France, which our grandfather selected. He soon became the largest wine merchant in the south of France. After acquiring Château de la Clapière in 1928 and Château de L'Aumérade in 1932, Mr. Henri Fabre senior devoted himself exclusively to his châteaux. He was one of the first to have his own bottling line, and worked for the renown of Côtes de Provence. His son Louis Fabre joined him in the '50s, developing the business in France and abroad. Mothballed after this period, Maison Fabre regained its letters of nobility when Louis and his son Henri Fabre junior, decided to breathe new life into the structure, modernizing distribution and bringing quality service to its professional customers.
