The winemaker

Deeply rooted in the land of leases for several generations, the Cartier family led a field of 46 hectares of vines and 20 hectares of olive groves in the heart of the Alpilles, a few kilometers from Baux de Provence. Through a unique situation and the long family tradition, Nicolas Cartier and now his son, Luke, and Frédéri, developed the production of great wines, red and rosé AOC Les Baux de Provence and white, as well as a superb olive oil. . In recent years, Eve, daughter of Luke, joined them on the field. Far from any source of pollution, with an exceptionally warm climate, dry and windy, the Mas de Gourgonnier is operated organically in accordance with the specifications of "NATURE AND PROGRESS", that is to say without fertilizers chemical or herbicide or insecticide.
