The Ultimate Provence estate belongs to the same British owners as Châteaux de Berne, des Bertrands and Saint Roux. The 40-hectare estate is located in the commune of La Garde-Freinet, at the foot of the Massif des Maures. Surrounded by a forest of holm oaks, the vineyard is dominated by the Notre-Dame-des-Anges mountain and is certified High Environmental Value (HVE). Find out more

Ultimate Provence - Domaine UP


Between the Maures plain and the Gulf of Saint-Tropez rises a facade adorned with a lime finish, emerging from a vineyard: Ultimate Provence. A little-known, almost intimate address, discovered by word-of-mouth. Here, AOP Côtes de Provence vines are served and, above all, produced. A singular, urban vineyard designated by Humbert & Poyet.

Here you can taste wine in three colors (red, rosé and white), enjoy an unforgettable moment by the pool, pamper yourself with a room overlooking the vines... Or, come and discover a cuisine with Mediterranean flavors and enjoy its bar and lounge terrace. An ideal place to disconnect from the world for a weekend and indulge yourself.

The vineyard


Located in the heart of a nature reserve, this vineyard features shallow soil on an impermeable sandstone slab. These soils are reinforced by humus-rich soil, including oak and vine shoots. What makes the Ultimate Provence vineyard a unique terroir are the different plots specifically allocated to each cultivated grape variety:

Cinsault: these are grown on hillsides, guaranteeing them exceptional exposure.

Rolle: located below, it is renowned for its fruity notes of citrus and pear.

Syrah, a magnificent parcel on the plateau that produces wines with assertive aromas of violets and red and black fruits.

Perrono: here young white and black Grenache complement the Syrah.

Up Rosé Côtes de Provence Wine


Wines here come in red, rosé and white. But the estate's icon remains UP Rosé. It's described as "the promise of an extra-fresh wine with intense aromas that can be shared day and night". And to confirm this, the famous American magazine "Wine Enthusiast" awarded it a score of 90/100. Indeed, on the palate this unexpected rosé does its best to put on a show of incredible freshness, accentuated by spicy notes of white pepper.
