This exclusive parcel is produced in limited quantities (934 bottles) on the magnificent granitic terroir of Lieu-Dit L'Aleau in Vérin, between the Chery hillside and Château Grillet, the original birthplace of Viognier. This terroir produces wines of great aromatic complexity and tension, with a long finish of freshness and minerality.

Appearance
Pale gold
Aroma
Expressive, a little exuberant but not too heavy. The nose is faithful to the fragrances of Condrieu wines (stone fruit, white flowers).
Taste
The wine is well controlled, with a very long finish. We find the typical aromas of the appellation: apricot, peach, honey and a hint of sweet spices. A beautiful wine!

Condrieu
The appellation Condrieu is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Graeme et Julie Bott and its 5 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
